Presenter Biographies

Shinichiro Hara (Sheen) is an Associate CG Supervisor at EA games. Some of Sheen’s duties include creating animation controls, designing character/animation/Cinematic pipelines, doing realistic deformations and making cloth simulations. Sheen is part of Central Technology and is working to create the next generation character and animation pipeline for studio wide products. Also he is passionate about character creation. He is very successful at bridging the gap between art and technology and is equally at ease in both areas. He presented a Maya Master Class in 2005 and 2006, and has taught character creation workflow for next generation games. Being Japanese, it is not surprising that Sheen is an avid gamer and a fan of the animations of Hayao Miyazaki.
